Who We Are

Impact Prevention Agency & Board History

Impact Prevention (lP) was established in the fall of 2015 by John Goodwin and Mollie Stevens.  IP was initially registered as a for-profit agency.  Certification through Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Services was completed in 2016 and is current.  The agency’s non-profit status was secured with the Internal Revenue Service, Department of Treasury in October of 2017.

From the humble beginnings of two employees, IP now has five full time employees and two part time employees.  Our service area has also expanded from Lawrence County to Scioto and touches six other Southern Counties with Adult Ally Regional Learning Collaborative training to include Gallia, Brown, Meigs, Vinton, Logan, and Adams.

IP Board was first established in 2018 with three Board Members:  Josh Ison, Jerrie Goodwin and Johnna Seward.  IP is now on-boarding additional Board Members to match the agency’ growth and to provide a rich diverse new members including Tomi Blankenship and Cara Salyer.
